In the pop-filled landscape of generic radio, sometimes it’s nice to get away from the likes of Lady Gaga and ads for shop electricity rates texas to focus on programs that answer some of the bigger, existential questions of our time. You don’t really need to be a philosopher to enjoy a good talk about spiritualism or any other esoteric themes because, as a human being you are already asking some of the bigger questions to yourself, whether or not you know how to articulate them into queries.

You might be well-read in all the latest sciences and you might consider yourself the most learned individual in the room, but there is no denying a certain something that lingers just outside of our lives. A thread of spirituality if you will, but something all-too real that science just can’t account for. We all feel it in our lives and spiritual radio programs allow us to meet and discuss our feelings on these unknowns in a safe and controlled environment. Instead of spending time talking about all the things that are impossible and out of reach, these programs explore the valid spiritual experiences and possibilities and allow you, the listener, to decide for yourself.

Listening to the radio is a very personal experience and spiritualism is equally personal. It is a communion with something greater than yourself and it is both healthy and advisable to, every now and again, explore that part of yourself and learn from others who might feel the same.

Many people think that the primary goal of the alchemists was to turn base metals such as lead into gold. While it is true that great wealth was desired, the ultimate goal of alchemy was far broader than that. Alchemists sought to create a substance called the “philosopher’s stone.” This mysterious material had the power not only to transmute lead or mercury into gold, but to cure all human ills and prolong life indefinitely. In liquid form the philosopher’s stone could dissolve any other material. In short, alchemists were seeking magical powers. The word alchemy probably derives from the Arabic term al-kimiya, which itself evolved from khemia, the ancient Greek word for Egypt. In other words, alchemy was an attempt to revive the mystical knowledge of the ancient Egyptians.
Many well-known early scientists, including Sir Isaac Newton, studied alchemy. As they experimented with different substances in their search for the magic elixir, they gained useful knowledge about these materials and the processes used to analyze them, even creating a rudimentary periodic table of the elements. Alchemists used such techniques as distillation, chemical extraction of ores, and the development of acids and other compounds based on a growing understanding of the elements. Therefore over time the goal of alchemy shifted from the search for magical power and wealth to the quest for knowledge itself. In the 17th century the alchemist Robert Boyle coined the term “chemistry” to reflect this new science. Boyle is best remembered for his advances in the study of gases; “Boyles Law” is named after him.
Thus, what started as a medieval quest for wealth and power evolved into a focused field of study that helped lead to the scientific method and the beginning of the Renaissance, setting the stage for the advances in civilization and technology that we enjoy today.

There are tons of great schools of esoteric thought and they’re finally reaching new audiences via the world wide web. If you’ve got a http://www.wildbluedeals.com/ you can research your own beliefs – here are some of the best websites for looking into new theories:
GodDirect.Org: This website’s claim to fame is snippets of thought in less than 20 words or less. If you’re looking for enlightenment in a minute, this is a great site to try out.
Esoteric-Thought.com: A catch-all for different dimensions of esoteric thought, all you want to know is right here. There are chat rooms and archives of different theories as well as works from various esoteric authors.
Esotericthought.com: This site lays it all out on the line and it’s more sarcastic and skeptical than the others. If you want a shallow-dive in to esoterism without all the hoopla, this is a really good platform to explore.
We don’t endorse any particular site or method of thought but we think it’s always a good idea to explore all sides of the coin and form your own opinion. Happy hunting!

It is a common misconception that Freemasons are a religious or political organization. Freemasons have a similar ideology to the local Kiwanis or Knights of Columbus. These private organizations of philanthropic men seek to provide the community with charitable works. Because the Freemason helps society anonymously, their history is veiled in secrecy. A stonemason by definition is a builder. Freemasons use this analogy to build good will within communities. Their good works are based on the beliefs of moral and ethical principals of love, relief, and truth.

The historical secrecy of the Freemason results from the anonymity of charitable acts and their desire to give without glory. Involved in fund raising, civic projects to rebuild communities and activities to enhance medical and education benefits for children, Freemason may seem to have a political or democratic position. These men, however, of great moral and ethical value, understand that many civic projects fall into the hands of political ideologists.

Their works set an example for communities that doing right is more important that defining or developing a constituency. Today, Freemason’s work on projects such as Shriners’ Hospital for Children, CHIPS programs, sheltered housing and nursing care. Once prominent in the United States, the Freemason membership flourishes in the United Kingdom.

The I Ching is an ancient Chinese tool for divination and a guide for understanding basic Taoist Truths. The I Ching guides its followers on a path of spiritual study. Divination is only a means to finding ones’ worthiness. If a follower wishes to know about a family members’ health, she divines the moving, fixed or old lines of the hexagram. Moving influences, fixed influences and old or passing influences describe the state of the diviner-s question. As in Tarot readings and other similar divination tools, the casting of the hexagram allows the questioner to determine a future event unchanged.

If the family member is ill and does not receive assistance, they may perish. If the fixed hexagram determines that the member-s time to meet the divine has come, this fixed line cannot be altered. If the ill member has been irresponsible with their body, they are ill from old habits, lifestyles and patterns. Their choices may also lead to their demise. God seldom intervenes in free will. However if the ill person wishes to move past this experience to health, change can occur.

The Yin and Yang are the opposite but equal sides of a coin, offering the same value, always about personal choice. The Taoist Truth provides for men and women to have equal balanced lives, where there is dryness there is also rain, heat and cold, anger and peace. When the human mind, body or psyche are discordant or out of balance, physical, emotional and spiritual illness occurs.

Mercurians, Swedenborg notes, live with greater integrity and are not capable of deceit. Some planets rejected sin and evil and exist so that humans can develop other values. Sylvia Browne describes some of these same ideas in her books. When each human dies, he or she chooses to be reborn to other planets in an attempt to learn additional life lessons. Each human lives until she fully integrates into the oneness of God.

Emanuel Swedenborg speaks with Mercurians, inhabitants of the planets in our universe. Revealing that we are not alone, Swedenborg offers insights into the lives, appearance and spiritual beliefs of human beings that inhabit other planets. Swedenborg asserts that we are not alone in the universe.

The vast expanse of the universe contains other beings with similar lives, appearances and philosophies. With his psychic gift, he talks with Mercurians and finds that they too know of and believe in the same God of Earth. Swedenborg notes that “The Christ” has been to every planet and even though he may have a different story, name or description, he is the same Christ.

Earth is thought to be the hardest planet to learn upon because it contains war, evil and corrupting influence. As humans choose to continue learning, they work on specific issues on other planets with less avarice, pain and deceit. In Swedenborg-s psychic conversations with Mercurians, he found that humans are reborn on Mars to learn less painful lessons about integrity, love and other heavenly endeavors.

The world abounds in esoteric religious and philosophical ideas, and there is often considerable confusion in identifying one from the other. Esoterism has captured the imagination of adherents in all places on Earth, at all times, and remains an alluring avenue into exploring human nature, the universe and cosmology. Operating outside of more rigorous and well-established systems of thought and belief, esoterism investigates fundamental philosophical and religious questions in ways not typical to more mainstream academic and religious programs.

In general, esoteric religious movements differ from esoteric philosophies at the point from which they choose to begin to develop systems of thought. Religious movements take the existence of, and certain qualities attributable to, God or some divinity as “given,” and proceed from this point in constructing a cosmology, or diving the will of the ultimate or parent reality.

Philosophy, on the other hand, seeks to establish some starting point by virtue of a systematic and, to some extent, proved point. Establishing the primacy of a particular epistemology, philosopher utilize the epistemological tools inherent to their systems, and discover truths in a nearly-scientific fashion. In fact, the sciences themselves are the offspring of the means of investigation employed by philosophers for centuries.
